These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by LanceScape ("LanceScape," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, landscaping and lawn-care services, property-estimation tools, and our text-messaging (SMS/MMS) program. By using our services or communicating with us by text message, you agree to these Terms.
LanceScape provides landscaping, lawn-care, and related property services in the Columbia, South Carolina area, including Lexington and Richland counties. As part of our operations we use internal estimation tools that produce approximate property measurements (for example, lawn and landscape square footage) from public aerial imagery and parcel data. All estimates are approximate, are provided for planning convenience only, and must be verified before they are relied upon for any quote, contract, or work order.
LanceScape operates an internal text-messaging program ("the Program") that allows authorized LanceScape personnel to request automated property estimates by text message and receive an estimate summary and an annotated aerial image in reply.

START to re-subscribe.Recipients are LanceScape personnel who provide their own mobile number directly to LanceScape and consent to receive automated estimate messages as part of their work. There is no public or web-based sign-up; mobile numbers are added to the Program manually by the business owner. The Program is not used for marketing and messages are not sent to consumers or the general public.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the availability and conditions of the recipient's mobile network.
This section explains what information LanceScape collects in connection with its services and the text-messaging Program, and how that information is used and protected.
We use this information solely to operate and improve our services and the estimate Program — for example, to generate the requested estimate and image, to respond to you, and to maintain our internal records. We do not use it for advertising.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services (for example, the messaging platform that delivers our texts) is limited to what is needed to provide the service. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages you request.
We retain information only as long as needed to operate the service and meet our legal and business obligations, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. Annotated aerial images generated by the Program are served from temporary links that expire automatically.
You may opt out of the text-messaging Program at any time by replying STOP, and you may
request that we delete your information by contacting
admin@lancescapesc.com.
Estimates and images are provided "as is" and are approximate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LanceScape is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on automated estimates that have not been verified in person. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
